poetry

Love…

She twirled by the window, dressed
in a long red skirt with a fringe

For the poor boy, it felt like a glimpse of the Candyland;
His own tie-dyed tunic caught her eyes.

And they both stayed still,
while the rain poured like love
and the lightning struck like the flash of a camera shot
on landscape mode.
