Lust

Strands brushing his shoulders

Her eyes devouring his soul, there’s a

Intense pull

She groans

It’s summer

Raindrops trickle down her face to his lips

Tasting the sea of desire

These invisible wires

Plugged from him to her

Surges of electric power to light up

The entire city

When it struggles with outages

Frisking through darkness

Not missing an inch, a single curve

Of a highway

One crash away

From scars of a lifetime

Sniffing through primal pheromones

As if a blind wolf running wild

For the red moon

In the treacherous forest

As if the apes warn the rest

Of a predator unleashed

She lets him in,

And holds him tight

This will kill her

But she will burn him alive
