Gentle Breeze

Tell me oh passing breeze

This love you claim for me

What is it

What do you know

What do you see

It’s not real is it

There’s no warmth in my touch

There’s no magic in your kiss

Oh passing wind

You fly away

Like you arrived

And I stare at you from a distance

I am the eye of the storm darling

And you are gentle breeze

They say when air meets air

It’s divine

I disagree

You bring a reassuring drizzle

And I fuel forest fires

Cyclones and sandstorms

I’d destroy you, my love,

For you bring life and

I destruction
