Wolf and the Girl

A pretty girl
Lost in the woods
Spotted by a wolf
The wolf hadn’t seen
A beauty so mesmerizing
In all the days it spent in the jungle
It stalked her for days
Watched over her during
The cold scary night
It lay next to her
Sniffing the fragrance of her
Chestnut brown curls
She slept in total oblivion
As days passed by
It was more in love with her
The beast knew
It wasn’t meant to be
Cause’ she a girl, it a wolf
And one day the girl
Found her way out
Wolf cast a final glance
On its only love
All that remained
In its memory of her face
That glistened in the
Blood red eyes
One last time
As she left, she also
Took away its life
